    Any agreements made under the Penitentiary Act or the Prisons and Reformatories Act and in existence on the coming into force of section 214, to the extent that they are authorized to be entered into under subsection 15(3) or 16(1) of this Act, shall be deemed to have been entered into under that subsection.
