    For greater certainty, nothing in subsection (1) is intended to derogate from the powers conferred on the Commissioner, the Registrar or a chief firearms officer under this Act or any other Act of Parliament or an Act of a provincial legislature or the common law to disclose information to a law enforcement agency.
