    In a province in which the Lieutenant Governor in Council has designated the provincial director to determine the level of custody, the provincial director shall, where a young person is committed to custody under paragraph 20(1)(k) or (k.1) or an order is made under subsection 26.1(1) or paragraph 26.6(2)(b), specify whether the young person shall be placed in open custody or secure custody.
