Versions of s. 318(1)

Where the Chairman has received a report of inspection described in section 317 and a report of a radio inspector described in section 346 in respect of a Canadian Safety Convention ship that is a passenger ship or a nuclear ship, and he is satisfied that all the relevant provisions of this Act and the regulations have been complied with, he shall issue for that ship an inspection certificate and the Safety Convention certificate that is described in section 321 and that is appropriate to the class and intended service of that ship.
