The owner or occupier of every dock, wharf or landing place at which passengers are put on shore or taken on board shall, at night, cause to be shown conspicuously on that dock, wharf or landing place, at every angle or turn thereof, during the whole of the time that any ship is approaching, or alongside, good and sufficient lights.
